About the ESTELLE CHASEN was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She holds a BA degree and a Diploma in
Librarianship. A former head of the children’s section within the Port Elizabeth Library Services and Coordinator for the literacy promotion group READ (Read, Educate and Develop), she later taught Hebrew and Jewish Studies at the Theodor Herzl School.
