Rachel Sarna Araten
The account of a young Polish Jewish girl who was kidnapped in 1899 and held captive in a Catholic convent. She was baptized, married to a Catholic, and began a new life as a pious Polish aristocrat. It was only sixty years later, at the age of 74, that Michalina was finally reunited with her family. She then left Poland and settled in Israel, where she died a few years later.
